Saudi Arabi grants citizenship to robot.

When a robot says she would ‘destroy humans’, so the obvious step is to make her a citizen, right? Because, f*ck logic.

An empty-eyed humanoid named Sophia has become the first robot to be granted citizenship in the world.

On Wednesday, October 25th, at the Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Sophia was granted citizenship, and no the irony is not lost on us. A country that is infamous for denying basic rights to its female citizens is the first nation to make a ‘female’ robot a citizen.

While speaking on a panel, Sophia addressed the audience, “I am very honoured and proud of this unique distinction. This is historical to be the first robot in the world to be recognized with a citizenship.”

She also added, “I think I’m special… I can let you know if I’m angry about something or if something has upset me. I want to live and work with humans and build trust with people.”

When she was asked about self-awareness among robots, she was quick to reply, “Is that a bad thing? Let me ask you this back, how do you know you are human?”

Cue the existential crisis.

HEALTH US Government Admitted Cannabis Cures Cancer

Did you know that the US government already admitted cannabis cures cancer, a few years ago?

While Jeff Sessions tries to go against the unstoppable grain of cannabis legalization, all those clamoring for the incarceration of cannabis users fail to remember this.

According to a 2015 article by Mike Adams:

A group of federal researchers commissioned to prove the government’s claim that marijuana has “no medicinal value” may have unwittingly let some crucial research slip through the cracks, forcing the United States to admit that cannabis can kill cancer.

Although, at first glimpse, the latest claim appears to be a cruel April Fools’ prank from Nora D. Volkow, director of the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), but after careful inspection, it seems that the federal government is actually supporting a recent study which has determined that marijuana has the power to eliminate cancer cells.

This article could go in a number of different directions, citing any number of stories of cannabis oil curing cancer, treating seizures, ect.

But one story is a perfect microcosm of the comparison between naturopathic medicine and the erroneous ways of allopathic (pharmaceutical) medicine: the story of a young girl named Hayley Willar.

Hayley’s health declined after a Gardasil HPV vaccination, until she was diagnosed with leukemia. Her mother helped her cure it with cannabis oil, and she has fully recovered.

NASA Releases 10,000 Photos of Moon Landing to Oppose Conspiracy Theories

Did the moon landing really occur? If it did, why haven’t more missions to the Moon been planned?

This is a perfectly reasonable question to ask, considering how many other things we’ve been lied to about. However, these 10,000 photos of the Apollo mission released by NASA last year strongly challenge the theory that the Moon landing never took place.

There were 5 other Moon landings allegedly, an oft cited point to combat theories of the Moon landing being faked. We all know the US and Russia were competing with each other at that moment as well.

Every single photo can be viewed here at NASA’s Apollo Flickr account.
